Pacific Palisades resident Claire Nordstrom, a recent graduate of the USC Thornton School of Music, will again perform at The Draycott, starting on Monday, February 3.

Many might remember that Claire sang the National Anthem at a Seattle Seahawks home game and sang with Italy’s Andrea Bocelli when he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Performing publicly since she was 10, Claire composes and records original songs, five of which have appeared on network television shows.

In a January 28 email to Circling the News, Draycott co-owner Marissa Hermer said, “Palisadian Noelle Rox of Noelle Rox Pilates introduced Claire to me. Her parents are regulars at The Draycott, so we booked her for an evening of Christmas Carols in our lounge over the holidays. That evening was so special and many of our regulars remarked that they would love to enjoy more of her singing. So, we invited Claire to join us as our resident singer for bi-monthly performances.

“She really does have the voice of an angel,” Hermer continued. “Her music is delightful. I love meeting so many new Palisadians who come out specially to hear her perform and enjoy these classic songs.”

Nordstrom will perform at The Draycott’s lounge on the first and third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. (Confirmed dates are February 3 and 17, March 16, April 6 and 29, May 4 and 18, June 1 and 15, and July 6 and 20).

In additional to her original compositions, Nordstrom will also perform classics such as Billy Joel’s Just The Way You Are, The Carpenters’ Close To You, and Frank Sinatra’s I Get A Kick Out of You.
