ACTRESS DIANA SILVERS
This young actress and model, attended Kenter Canyon Charter School, Paul Revere Middle School and graduated from Palisades High School. While at PaliHi, she participated in drama, the choir and was on the girls’ tennis team.
Silvers made her big screen debut in January 2019 in “Glass,” opposite Bruce Willis, Anya Taylor-Joy and Samuel L. Jackson.
She has received great reviews for “Booksmart” the coming-of-age comedy movie. Silvers followed that by playing Maggie, opposite Octavia Spencer in the horror film “Ma.”
Silvers will next appear opposite Jessica Chastain in “Eve.”
She started her modeling career while still at PaliHi. Silvers had walked into a Brandy Melville store and they hired her to do project research and development. By the third day she was shooting for Instagram, too.
Silvers, who’s 5’10”, was signed first by Wilhelmina, she moved to IMG in 2015 and has appeared in American Vogue, Vogue India, Vogue Taiwan, Marie Claire and ELLE UK, IMG models, and closed the Fall/Winter 2019 Stella McCartney runway show.
After graduating from PaliHi, Silvers attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts for a year.
In a May 2019 interview with NewYork magazine, “Diana Silvers on Booksmart’s Groundbreaking Sex Scene,” she said, “I did a year of acting program at NYU, hated it and switched to primarily taking history and film classes.”
At the end of her junior year in 2018, just before finals, her dad’s home (he was living in Ojai at the time) burned down, and she came back to L.A.
Growing up in Brentwood, she is one of six children; her younger sister Sarah is also an extremely talented singer and graduated PaliHi in 2018; her older sister Elizabeth received her master’s in nursing from Yale.

The captain of New Zealand’s Woman’s soccer team, Ali Riley, grew up in Pacific Palisades. She has been captain of that team since 2017.
Riley, who has dual citizenship, almost led her team to an upset in the team’s first match against the Dutch, losing 1-0 in the 92nd minute on June 11.
In the team’s second match against the Canadians, who were the favorites, the Kiwis managed to hold them scoreless the first half, but eventually lost 2-0.
The final team the Kiwis face in Group E is Cameroon. Mathematically, it is not impossible for New Zealand to advance to the second stage, but they will have to defeat Cameroon and finish among the best third-placed teams. (Their third game is scheduled for June 20.)
Riley, 31, 5’5” and a defender, has now appeared in four World Cups and two Olympics.
Riley attended St. Matthew’s, Harvard-Westlake and Stanford, where she played four years with the Cardinal, graduating in 2009.
She was drafted by FC Gold Pride for the Women’s Professional Soccer League. When backers couldn’t be found, she signed with the Western New York Flash.
The WPS was suspended and Riley moved to Sweden and played for Rosengard until 2018. She is currently on the Chelsea Women’s squad.
Riley started with AYSO before joining a club team, the Westside Breakers in 1998. Her parents are John Riley and Beverly Lowe.
