BURGLARY

May 29 to May 30, between 5 p.m. and the 8 a.m. in the 1000 block of El Medio Place. The suspect entered victim’s home through an unlocked door and took jewelry.

BURGLARY/THEFT from VEHICLE

May 5, between 3 and 4 p.m. in the 500 block of Los Liones. The suspects smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a cell phone and sketchbook. The suspects (#1 male, dark hair, 6’1″ 180 lb, 20/25 years, #2 male, dark hair, 175 lb, 25/30 years) took a helmet, tool box, watercolors and dash cam from victim’s storage box.

May 6, between 3:30 and 4:20 p.m. in the 15900 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse, money and cell phone.

May 6 to May 7, 11 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspect entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and took jewelry, sunglasses and a spare vehicle key.

May 8, 9 to 11:15 a.m., in the 14900 block of PCH. The suspect used a “hidden” key to enter victim’s vehicle and took a cell phone, wallet and vehicle key.

THEFT

May 6 to 21, 10 a.m. to noon, in the 500 block of Las Casas Avenue. The suspect contacted victim using an app for selling valuables. The suspect sent the victim a check for $1,700 more than the agreed price and requested a check (along with the “purchased” property) be sent to him. The victim sent the property along with a check to the suspect and later discovered that the suspect’s check was fraudulent.

May 6 to 7, 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard.  The suspects (the first male was described as 20-25 years old, with dark hair, 6’1″ 180 lb., and the second male was described as 25 to 30 years, dark hair, 175 lb.) took a helmet, toolbox and dash cam from victim’s storage box.

May 6 to 7, 11 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the 17300 block of Sunset. The suspect took victim’s unsecured bicycle from an underground parking structure.
