Did you like last year’s parade? Do you have ideas how to make it better? Would you like to meet other community volunteers and help produce it?

Matt Rodman, the president of the Palisades Americanism Parade Association (PAPA), welcomes help from all residents.

In an April 4, email, he wrote, “Whether this is your first year volunteering for the Palisades July 4th Parade and fireworks, or your 31st year… welcome!”

The first monthly volunteer meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 8 at the Ronald Reagan American Legion Post 283, at 15247 La Cruz Drive. Light refreshments will be served.

“The American  Legion is our historic and most generous supporter, and we thank them for hosting us,” Rodman said. “Lets reintroduce ourselves and welcome newcomers. Encourage your friends and family to join us and get ready for another great July Fourth in Pacific Palisades.”

Please rsvp to palisadesparade@gmail.com.  If you can’t be there, email and offer your help.

“We look forward to seeing you on Monday,” Rodman said.
