Members of Resilient Palisades were presented with a certificate of recognition by Councilman Mike Bonin for the group’s 2022 Earth Day Celebration at Will Rogers Park. This year the non profit will host one on the Village Green.
Resilient Palisades, a nonprofit, which was formed in 2020 to address climate change and environmental issues, will host a major Earth Day festival on Sunday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to noon on the Village Green.
Located off Sunset Boulevard, Swarthmore and Antioch Avenues, the festival will be a morning of fun, education and all things eco-friendly.
The event will be led by co-chairs Janice Goldfinger and Gail Wirth, and all seven of Resilient Palisades teams will be represented: Clean Air and Water, Vegan Solutions, Clean Energy, Zero Waster, Green Banking, Biking and Water Sages.

Circling the News asked Ryan Craig, one of the co-founders of Resilient Palisades, what seed bubbles were. He replied, “They are packages of seeds that plop right in the ground. Think of them like fast food for seeds.”
Free kitchen pails, live worms and seed bubbles sounds like the perfect way to spend Sunday morning. After the Palisades Farmers Market, stroll over and find ways that you can help Mother Earth.
Resilient Palisades became part of the Palisades Community Council in 2022, joining the Temescal Canyon Association under the environmental umbrella.
