The Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club, which has been serving the community since 1925, will continue its annual tradition of awarding grants to local nonprofits.

Over the decades, the club has awarded more than $1 million in grants to various organizations. Last year schools that received a grant included Palisades Charter High School, Canyon Elementary and Paul Revere Middle School. Local organizations, such as the Village Green and the Palisadian Americanism Parade Association and the Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness were also recipients.

Woman’s Club Communications Chair Kat Holland has announced that applications are now being accepted for 2023.

Applicants, 501(c)(3) need to deliver services in Pacific Palisades or perform services that benefit the Palisades community.

Areas that will be considered include Arts and Recreation; Community and Charitable Organizations; and Education and Beautification. Submission requests must be received by February 28,2023. Grants will be awarded by late spring 2023.

“Previous grantees need to reapply,” Holland said, “and we welcome others to benefit from this community investment.”
