To kick off a new ongoing wine dinner series, The Draycott at Palisades Village will host a special dinner and wine tasting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3 with Peter Stolpman, owner of the Stolpman Vineyards. The cost is $125 per person and there are still a few seats available.
The menu by Draycott Chef Josh Mason includes the following pairings:
Munak Ranch tomato carpaccio, shallots, Parmigiano, 12 yr. balsamic
with “Love You Bunches Rose 2020”
Sea Bass Escabeche, saffron aioli, pickled vegetables
with “Estate Roussanne 2017”
Guinea fowl, herb gnocchi, morel mushrooms
with “Estate Sangiovese 2017”
Grilled Regier Farms peaches, brulee, crème fraiche
with “Estate Syrah 2019”
Draycott owner Marissa Hermer said that Stolpman Vineyards was selected for the initial offering because “Stolpman is leading the industry in their area, Santa Barbara wine country, in terms of recognition and quality. They also fight for a sustainable way of farming and producing their wines, and they advocate for agricultural labor laws to ensure more justice for their workers.”
