Rodeo Realtors Devin McNichol and Aaron Bernbach are collecting food for an “Earth Day Cereal Drive.”

Residents are invited to bring at least two non-perishable food items from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, April 24, to Rodeo Realty at 839 Via de la Paz.

In exchange for the food items that will be delivered to the Westside Food Bank in Santa Monica, McNichol and Bernbach will treat you to a free succulent plant, courtesy of The Standard Design Group (on Temescal Canyon Road).

This is the third food drive organized by McNichol and Bernbach. “We raised close to 2,000 pounds of food at our first two drives,” they said. “Let’s come together and give back.”

If you can’t make it to Via on Saturday, contact mbfooddrive@gmail.com and someone from the McNichol-Bernbach Group will pick up.

“It is extraordinarily important to both of us and is a wonderful way to unite the neighborhood,” McNichol said. “We have both volunteered at food banks and truly value the importance of charitable endeavors.”

Bernbach said, “We hope that local residents, as well as business owners and their employees will consider donating to our food drive, but also donate to food banks throughout the year.”

Annually, the Westside Food Bank provides more than five million pounds of food to 70 social agencies. (Call: 310-828-6016 or visit: westsidefoodbankca.org).

“We look forward to both seeing old friends and meeting new neighbors at our event,” McNichol said. Call: (310) 910-4075 or email: McNicholBernbach@gmail.com.
