Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore has released the crimes that were recorded in Pacific Palisades from August through September 11. Remember not to leave car fobs inside the car to prevent stolen vehicles and to heed the LAPD’s warning: “Lock It. Hide It. Keep It.”
BURGLARY:
July 1 to August 31, 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., in the 1100 block of Corsica Drive. The suspect opened a window to enter victim’s home and took silverware and jewelry.
September 2, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., in the 14200 block of Alisal Lane. The suspect forced open a door to enter victim’s home, but no property was stolen.
September 6 to 11, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., in the 1300 block of Luna Vista Dr. The suspect broke a door handle to enter victim’s property and took a vintage comic book.
BURGLARY/THEFT FROM VEHICLE:
August 11, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., at Los Liones and Sunset Boulevard. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took keys.
August 12, 10:40 a.m. in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspect took victim’s purse as victim exited her vehicle.
August 14 to 15, 10 p.m. to 8:25 a.m., in the 300 block of Bellino. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took a wallet and money.
August 27, 1:30 p.m., at Alma Real and Frontera Drive. The three suspects (1. male Hispanic, 20, black hair brown eyes, 6′ 160 lbs.; 2. female Hispanic, 21, black hair brown eyes, 5’6″ 160 lbs. and 3. female Hispanic, 20, black hair, brown eyes, 5’2″ 120 lbs.), driving a black 4-door 2019 Volkswagen Passat, drove up to victim’s vehicle, entered victim’s vehicle and took money, sunglasses and headphones.
August 28, noon and 1 p.m., in the 500 block of Los Liones. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took money, sunglasses and credit card.
August 30 to 31, 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the 17900 block of Castellammare. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took keys and a handicap placard.
September 6, 5:17 to 5:35 a.m., in the 1100 block of Embury Street. The suspects pried open a door to enter and ransack victim’s vehicle.
September 6 to 7, 4 p.m. to 12 p.m., in the 1400 block of Longworth. The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took tools.
September 7, 7:45 and 10 a.m. at Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard. The suspect smashed a window to enter victim’s vehicle and took money, a purse and credit cards.
CRIMINAL THREAT:
September 6, 4:45 p.m., in the 17000 block of Pacific Coast Highway. A 29-year-old male was arrested for threatening to kill victim.
STOLEN VEHICLE:
August 9 to 10, 5 p.m., in the 17300 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The suspect took victim’s vehicle and parked it in a parking garage. Victim found and recovered the vehicle.
August 26 to 27, 6 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., in the 900 block of Fiske St. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from the street.
THEFT:
August 25, 1 p.m., in the 1000 block of Iliff St. The suspect, using an ad on Recycler.com, tricked victim into sending money for a puppy.
August 25, in the 15400 block of Sunset. The black male suspect (30, with black hair, brown eyes, 5’10” 160 lbs.) entered victim’s business, took an alcoholic beverage and left without paying.
August 29 to 30, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., in the 800 block of Alma Real. The suspects (two white males), kicked a glass fire extinguisher case to take victim’s fire extinguisher. The suspects fled in a 2008 Toyota SUV.
September 4, 9:30 p.m., in the 500 block of Palisades Drive. The female suspect (brown hair brown eyes, 5’7″ 115 LB, 40/50 years) took a package from victim’s apartment complex mail area.
September 5 to 6, 3:40 to 12:30 p.m., in the 1000 block of Las Pulgas Road. The suspect took victim’s mailbox.
September 10 to 11, 6:30 p.m. to 3:20 a.m., in the 900 block of Fiske Street. The male, white suspect (5’11” 180 lbs., 30/40 years) took packages from victim’s front porch.
