French Conversation:
Vous parlez francais? You speak French, but don’t have a place to practice? A small group of like-minded individuals urge “Come out of your home and meet new friends who speak French like you. Pas de timidité (shyness) On parlera de tout…ou presque.

Downtown Library:
You’ve always wanted to visit the Central Library (630 W. 5th Street, L.A. Ca. 90071), but did not want to go alone, did not want to drive? A group from Brentwood are planning to take the Metro on Thursday, March 7, leaving at 10:30 a.m. returning about 1:30 p.m. The organizer writes, “If you are a book lover, a fan of architecture and are ready to embark on a Downtown LA discovery, join us. Please meet at the bottom of the stairs of the Bundy Exposition Station. We could grab lunch at the Central Market. RSVP: brentwoodmeet@gmail.com. Brentwood Cleanup:
Organizers write: “Come out of your homes, meet your neighbors and CLEAN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
“Why? Because Brentwood is OUR HOME.”
Participants are asked to meet at the Brentwood Sign, across from 11616 San Vicente Boulevard (look for the yellow vests) at 8:30 a.m. There is street parking on Bringham, and along San Vicente closer to Wilshire. Trivia Time:
This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors and make new friends, while playing Trivia. Teams or individuals are welcome on Saturday, March 16, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Barrington Rec Center. Residents are urged to walk or commute and may park at the Post Office after 3 p.m.
People are asked to show a “neighbor spirit” and “kindly bring food or drinks (no alcohol please).” If refrigeration is needed, let organizers know because the Rec Center is equipped, but no food that needs to be reheated or microwaved. RSVP to brentwoodmeet@gmail.com.
