The Rain Keeps Falling
This past week, trying to keep track of the rain has become a full-time task. According to Carol Leacock, the town’s County-certified rainmeister, the total rainfall here on January 11, 12 and 14 was 3.1 inches, bringing the season total to 14.25 inches of rain—and that doesn’t include today’s, (Tuesday’s) total. More rain is expected through Thursday.
This afternoon, the City of Los Angeles sent out an alert about the possibility of mudslides in some communities.
