Peterson, who has been a professional stuntwoman for more than 40 years, will address members of the club and the interested public at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, at Modo Mio Restaurant, 15200 Sunset Boulevard (parking is included). The luncheon is $30 and includes soup and a main course. Cash will be collected at the door (no cards). Rotary club member Nancy Cleveland will be on hand to welcome guests.
Peterson, a Malibu resident, has appeared in more than 200 movies and television shows. You may remember her in the “Titanic” as a first-class passenger rescued from a lifeboat.
She won a film stunt award for “best fight sequence” in “Bachelor Party.” Other films include Laundromat, Green Hornet, Batman Forever, Marked for Death, Out for Justice, Robocop and Airplane.
Television shows that Peterson has performed in include Walker, Texas Ranger, Fall Guy, MacGyver and Magnum P.I.
She has worked as a stunt double for Sharon Stone, Jessica Lange, Faye Dunaway, Diane Keaton, Heather Locklear, Heather Thomas, Farrah Fawcett, Michele Pfeiffer and Kate Capshaw.

Peterson’s book will be available after the meeting at 1:30 p.m. The author will sign books and answer questions.
