Torch Relay Run Will Handoff at Temescal
The annual Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Memorial Torch Relay Run will take place Saturday, May 18. Representatives from the Malibu/Lost Hills Station will take the handoff from West Hollywood at Temescal Canyon on westbound PCH at about 11 a.m.
Three cyclists and participating runners will travel westbound along PCH from Temescal Canyon to Malibu Sheriff’s Station on Civic Center Way.
Participants will be escorted by two radio cars and two motorcycle deputies. From the Malibu Civic Center, the Torch will go to Calabasas, where runners will hand off to College Bureau at the Hidden Hills Burbank gate.
Motorists can expect some delays during the event.
