The Palisades Democratic Club will host its annual garden party from 2 to 4 p.m. this Sunday, September 19, via Zoom.
Featured speakers will include Congressman Ted Lieu, City Controller Ron Galperin, Assemblyman Richard Bloom, County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, City Councilmember Mike Bonin and LAUSD board member Nick Melvoin. California State Senator Ben Allen will send a video message.
There will be updates from elected officials and a question-and-answer period. Satirical political songs will be provided by Buffalo Romeo.
A single Zoom attendee is $35, two or more attendees is $50 (great couples activity). The first 50 people to RSVP will be eligible for cool prizes, including a $100 gift certificate to Casa Nostra. And if you register for two people, you will receive two chances for a prize.
