Medicare Benefits to Be Discussed
Palisades Alliance for Seniors will hold a must-attend meeting on “Understanding Your Medicare Benefits and Rights” from 10:30 to noon on Monday, November 5, in the Palisades Library community room, 861 Alma Real.
The speaker will be Aileen Harper, executive director of the Center for Health Care Rights. The Center is a nonprofit health care advocacy organization dedicated to assuring consumer access to quality health care through education counseling, informal advocacy and legal services.
The annual Medicare open-enrollment period began on October 15 and continues through December 7. During that time, one can join Medicare Advantage plans, switch plans, or return to original Medicare.
