Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore updated our town’s crime statistics through June 20. The emphasis seems to have returned to car-related crimes.

BURGLARY THEFT FROM VEHICLE

May 23, 9:45 a.m. to noon, at Sunset/El Medio. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse, laptop computer and camera.

June 13, 9:30 to 11 a.m., at Sunset and Pacific Coast Highway. The suspect used a “hide a key” to enter victim’s vehicle and took a driver’s license.

June 13, 10:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m., in the 400 block of Los Liones. The suspect pried open a door on victim’s vehicle and took tools.

June 15 and 16, 5 p.m. to 9 a.m., in the 400 block of El Medio. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and then ransacked the vehicle.

June 19, 4:40 and 6:20 p.m., at Entrada/PCH. The suspect smashed a window to enter victim’s vehicle and took a laptop computer and game system.

STOLEN VEHICLE

June 13 to 14, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m., in the 600 block of San Lorenzo. The suspect took victim’s vehicle from the street.

A fire started along PCH by Coastline Drive, most likely from illegal fireworks.

Continue to report illegal fireworks. Most of Pacific Palisades is in a high fire severity zone and a spark could start a disasterous fire.
