Pacific Palisades Updated Rain Report

According to Carol Leacock, the town’s County-certified rainmeister, who lives on Bienveneda, Pacific Palisades, Thursday’s storm brought 2.1 inches of rain. On November 21, the town received 0.6 inches of rain and on October 13, it received 0.25. This brings the season total to 2.95 inches, with more rain predicted for mid-week.

The recorded rain season starts July 1 and runs through June 30. Leacock said the driest season in the Palisades, since record-keeping began in 1942, was 4.11 inches in 2006-2007. The 2013-2014 season ended with 6.13 inches. The most rain recorded here was 42.60 inches in 1997-1998.
