The Theatre Palisades Actors’ Troupe will hold its 10th annual Christmas Radio Show, “A Christmas Carol” on Wednesday, December 13.
This free performance at Pierson Playhouse starts at 7 p.m. in the lobby as people eat cookies and drink Martha Hunter’s mulled wine.
Hunter, who is also the TPAT founder, has an incredible recipe that makes one feel all cozy inside. Attendees then go to the theater to listen to Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”
Promptly at 7:30 p.m. actors will take the stage for an hour presentation of a reenactment of a 1940s radio show – usually complete with an advertisement from that era. The Foley artists will be on hand, and it is great fun watching and listening to the sound effects they perform.
Afterwards, there is a drawing held for different raffle items that in the past have included a Luxe coffee certificate, wine, mugs and even subscription to an upcoming Theatre Palisades season. Anyone who has attended the show is automatically entered into the drawing.
If you have never been before, try to attend. You will not be disappointed.
The Actors’ Troupe is requesting attendees to bring a canned item that can be donated to the Westside Food Bank. Visit: .click here.
Super generous for you to do this show for us.
Thank you Martha for your refreshments.
You’re so beautiful inside and outside !!!!
