Look out for scam artists, dressed in orange vests, helmets and carrying a bug sprayer.
A resident wrote that his friend’s house was almost burglarized today. A person dressed up as a worker, claimed he was spraying some sort of pesticide for L.A. City.
The “worker” went around the back of the house, or an accomplice did, and smashed the back window. The friend’s wife was home and screamed. The guy took off running – carrying his “bug” sprayer.
The resident reported that it took the police 37 minutes to show up.
