‘Memory Loss & Alzheimer’s’ Talk

The Palisades Senior Alliance program on Monday, January 14, at 10:30 a.m. will be “Memory Loss & Alzheimer’s.”

The speaker, Kimiko Kelly, is the Alzheimer’s L.A. community education manager. She will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s disease and discuss the causes of memory loss and how to get a diagnosis.

Residents are invited to come learn the difference between normal aging and signs of dementia, and what a person can do when he/she sees the warning signs.

Since this is the first meeting of the month, the Palisades Alliance for Seniors will continue its monthly tradition of honoring everyone with a January birthday.

The meeting will take place in the Palisades Branch Library community room, 861 Alma Real Dr. Visit: palisadesalliance.org or email palisadesalliance@gmail.com.
