Woman’s Club Hosts Party for Town’s Nonagenarians
If you have just turned 90, congratulations! You are now eligible for one of the most popular and enjoyable annual events in Pacific Palisades.
Every year the Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club honors residents who are 90 and older with a special birthday luncheon. This year’s theme is “Eat, Drink and Be Ninety!” and the party will be held on Saturday, June 1 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the PPWC Clubhouse on Haverford.
Nonagenarians will not only be treated to lunch, but also musical entertainment, guest emcee Bill Bruns and a drawing for door prizes.
If you are 90 or over, or if you are a caregiver for someone in that age group, please RSVP by May 23 to (310) 454-9012. (An accurate number of attendees helps in planning enough food and seating.) When you call, give your name, address, phone number and birthdate so that the Woman’s Club can determine the oldest attendees and know the age of all the honorees.
Major sponsors for the event are Ronald Reagan American Legion Post 283, realtor Michael Edlen, UCLA Health, realtor Josie Tong, local dentist Max Moncayo, businessman Rony Shram, Atria Assisted Living and Fay Vahdani of Luxe Homecare.
