Draycott Introduces Brunch Buffet

Marissa and Matt Hermer, co-owners of the Draycott in Caruso’s Village, will introduce a brunch buffet this Saturday and Sunday, February 2-3—and it sounds spectacular.

The meal features the quintessential English Sunday Roast, which includes roast beef, cauliflower and cheese, Yorkshire Pudding and roasted chicken.

The seafood bar includes shrimp and crab legs, and a bagel bar will offer smoked salmon and numerous other “fixings.”

Also save room for seasonal salads, an omelet station and breakfast favorites such as French toast, sausages and bacon.

No buffet is complete without dessert, and Draycott owners have teamed up with Sweet Laurel bakery to bring a nice selection of gluten-free treats for patrons to choose from.

“Our Bloody Mary cart will be in action,” said Marissa, who notes there will mimosas, too, and other interesting libations.

She was asked why they decided to open the buffet this weekend, given that the Super Bowl on late Sunday afternoon generally means lighter restaurant traffic.

“This weekend is meant to be cold and rainy, and a English Sunday Roast feels just right!” Marissa said, adding “I think this is the first weekend brunch buffet available in the Palisades.”

Marissa also noted that the buffet is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which leaves plenty of time for Rams fans to have a delicious meal before going to parties.

The “all-you-can-eat” buffet is $55 for adults and $20 for kids. Children under four are free.

Reservations at the Draycott can be made by calling (310) 573-8938 or visit: thedraycott.com.

The Draycott is the first restaurant in Pacific Palisades to serve a brunch buffet on weekends.

Sounds great…..why do I have this strange disoriented feeling. Is it “abandonment syndrome” ??????? Lived here 55 years (and I was very young whenI came here)
