Holiday Book Sale
After two hours, the annual holiday book sale held on November 10 was closed because of air quality from the smoke from the Woolsey fire. The continuation sale of hundreds of nearly-new fiction and non-fiction, art books, cookbooks, coffee-table books, DVDs and CDs, at bargain prices, will be sold 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, December 1, at the Palisades Branch Library parking lot, 861 Alma Real.
As an added convenience, credit cards, as well as cash and checks, will now be accepted for payment. This is a great opportunity to purchase holiday gifts.
All proceeds from these sales are donated by the Friends of the Palisades Library to help the library purchase new books, DVDs and CDs that benefit everybody. Visit: friendsofpalilibrary.org.
