Monday, July 22, at the Palisades Branch Library
A special “Senior Scam” program will be presented at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22, in the Palisades Library community room. The program is free, and all residents are invited.
The program will feature a performance by the Stop Senior Scams Acting Program of Los Angeles, which uses theater to dramatize senior scams.
The performers, aged 65 to 100 years old, perform skits that demonstrate their experiences with scam artists. The seniors hope to teach the audience how to identify and stop elder abuse, and also to recognize scams that target older adults.
